Realtors
As a realtor, you’ve probably gotten the call – a client is looking to sell his timeshare and says, “I’m looking for a timeshare real estate agent. Can you sell my timeshare as a timeshare realtor?”
It’s a tough question to answer. As you know, it can be very challenging to sell a timeshare through traditional real estate channels:
- There is no MLS service available to post a timeshare for sale.
- You can’t “show” a timeshare at a resort like you can with a house.
- Local advertising or networking rarely works because most buyers purchase their vacation properties far from home and on a whim.
Realtors who sell timeshares are few and far between for a reason. Low commission coupled with the same amount of work involved in a normal house sale prevents real estate agents from wanting to take on timeshare properties. Commission on a timeshare is 6 percent of the value or about $500.
So why do all the work?
Let Timeshare Lifestyle help!
